Let me please introduce myself! My name is Rob Mills and I had the pleasure of being part of one of the pioneers of the new wave of British heavy metal, Diamond Head!
Diamond Head were actually cited as the main influence of Thrash giants Metallica & Megadeth!
Whilst I was in the band we did many amazing gigs! Here are some of the highlights…
- My 1st show was at Wacken open-air festival in Germany to over 50 thousand fans!!
- A European tour supporting kings of thrash-Megadeth
- Numerous other amazing festival shows across Europe including Sweden rock festival!
- I also played on the 2006 album -All will be revealed and also recorded a D.V.D. at the London Astoria for the 25th anniversary of the new wave of British heavy metal ball titled -To the devil his due
Rob was awarded his Bachelor of Arts in Music in 1999 by Birmingham University, and also has a grade 5 in Music Theory!
